Clyde Marine Medical Services provides a complete marine medical and fitness assessment service to all UK, International and Offshore standards.

Our medical centres in Glasgow and Southampton are accessible to all Merchant Navy and Offshore Mariners. Appointments should be made in advance, at a time convenient to you, and certificates are issued on the same day as your appointment.
Marine & Offshore Medicals
ENG1 seafarer medicals can be carried out to MCA and all other International agreed standards, including Norwegian, Liberian and Panamanian.
We also provide similar examinations to UKOOA standards for personnel working in the offshore sector.
Fitness Assessment Centre
Our medical centre in Glasgow is among the first to provide a full functional capacity and fitness testing to the new MCA standards. This level of testing assesses cardio respiratory fitness, dexterity and manoeuvrability. There are also an increasing number of Companies who have set their own fitness standards and the centre is equipped to carry out such be-spoke testing for both sea-going and shore-based personnel.
Other Medical Services
Our Marine Doctor provides a range of additional services including all laboratory, X-ray and blood testing services. We are a UK recognised Yellow Fever Centre and can provide a complete travel vaccine service for Mariners joining vessels around the world.
Drug & Alcohol testing for the workplace
The need to screen personnel for drug and alcohol abuse is becoming more prevalent in an increasing number of occupations. Clyde Healthcare, currently provides drug and alcohol testing to the marine industry and other business sectors. Test can be tailored to include one or several elements. The entire screening process can be offered at an all-inclusive, low cost, which includes documentation, nurse's fees and laboratory fees.
