We have recently strengthened the team here at Clyde Marine Recruiment. Natalie Kriek has joined us an On-board Services Crew Co-ordinator. Natalie was previously with Carnival Cruises and brings a complete understanding of the marine industry and the unique pressures it brings. She'll be working with Norfolkline, P & O and Isle of Man Steam Packet amongst others. Natalie will be looking for Deck Officers, 2nd Officers, 3rd Officers and DP Officers in particular.

Clyde Marine has witnessed significant shortages in the availability of UK Officers and Ratings. With a 40% reduction in UK Officers by 2023, and no integrated training scheme for Ratings in existence, the situation can only get worse. The UK has only 4000 Deck and Engine Ratings in comparison to Latvia which has 8000 Ratings.

To address the shortages and to ensure the continued supply of personnel to all of our client companies, Clyde Marine has established a network of offices throughout the EU. In casting a wider net and offering alternative solutions, Clyde Marine has ensured clients can continue to operate seamlessly without having to significantly change manning models.
